So, I came here with my family and extended family with included 5 kids and 3 parents. It will definitely be worth the time and effort. The park is located within a 20 minute drive from many areas in the city of Branson, so distance should not be a reason to prevent you from coming out to this wonderful place. There are a few benches along the way where you can rest if necessary. The walk is not difficult the path has only a few slight inclines and it is well maintained. Multiple picnic tables and grills are located near the boat launch, and the scenery is worth having a meal here.Ī walk along the hiking trail will give you a great view of the lake, and on most days you'll get to watch gray squirrels playing tag in the woods. Public restrooms (usually very clean) are nearby.
There is ample parking near the visitor center, and additional parking at various places within the park. The Branson Belle Steamboat is also located in the park however, it is temporarily closed. It includes a visitor center near the dam, an excellent paved hiking trail, a marina/boat launch, and 2 campgrounds. The park itself is fairly large and extensive. It's a very popular location for individuals seeking some exercise or a nice walk through a wooded area. Table Rock State Park is one of the primary areas where my brothers and I do our daily walks.
